Rachel Hoovler

Hi, my name is Rachel! I began practicing yoga when I was in college. After graduating, I fell in love with strength training and earned my personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports and Medicine in 2014. As I've explored my physical journey over the last 10 years, yoga is the thread I have continually returned to. I tore my ACL in 2022 and yoga was a huge part of my recovery process. As I deepened my personal practice, I felt a pull to do my teacher training. I completed my 200 hour training at Yogaview in August and am so grateful for the generosity, openness, and wisdom my teachers gave to me. My training changed my life and I am thrilled to join the teaching team at Coconut to share the practice with others. 

My yoga practice is constantly evolving and teaches me lessons on and off the mat. You can expect mindful sequencing, focus on alignment, and beautiful music in my classes. When I'm not on the mat, you can find me running a woodworking business with my boyfriend. In my down time, I love to read, bike, and needlepoint.
