Kathryn Norris

I’m a registered yoga teacher and certified Somatic Practitioner, currently pursuing my 800-Hour Professional Yoga Therapy Training. Over the past fifteen years, yoga has been a source of transformation and connection in my life. What began as a way to support my body evolved into a practice of embodiment and mindfulness, enriched by the introspective nature of Yin yoga.

My teaching blends yoga, mindfulness, fascial science, and energetics, drawing from Chinese Medicine and Eastern traditions to explore balance, energy flow, and the cycles of nature. I aim to create grounding yet transformative classes that invite connection, resilience, and ease.

I’ve studied with Paul and Suzee Grilley, Yinspiration, Yoga Medicine, and others whose guidance has shaped my integration of functional anatomy, nervous system care, and Eastern philosophies. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I hold space for your unique experience—encouraging curiosity, self-compassion, and attunement to the present moment.

In addition to teaching at Coconut Yoga, I work with clients through Lakeside Yin, offering somatic sessions and energy work to support the body’s natural capacity for harmony and healing. A lover of books and flowers, I find my yin while walking, gardening, and spending time at the Lake.
