Nourishing Mother & Baby: Pre/Postnatal Yoga and Nutrition Workshop

Unsure of how to adjust your yoga practice and your diet while pregnant and after having your baby? Join Coconut Yoga instructor Kristin Schleich, certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher and 500hr RYT, and Rachelle Malik, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and owner of The Food Therapist, on Sunday June 2nd! This workshop will start with a short yoga practice led by Kristin that will focus on ways to assist your body and mind as you journey through pregnancy and into postpartum. After savasana, learn from Rachelle about ways to support and empower your body and baby through nutrition. Snacks and ample time for questions will be provided!

About Rachelle
Rachelle Mallik, MA, RDN, LDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and owner of The Food Therapist, a private practice specializing in reproductive nutrition for fertility, prenatal, postpartum and breastfeeding wellness. Rachelle is a compassionate, food-first dietitian who empowers women during their reproductive journeys. With more than ten years of experience, including a top-fertility center in New York, private practice in New York and Australia, and Chicago hospitals, Rachelle provides a holistic and evidence-based approach to nutrition and wellbeing. As a mother herself, Rachelle understands the importance and realities of eating well during pregnancy and after baby arrives.

About Kristin
Kristin, certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher and 500hr RYT, has been teaching yoga since 2012. She loves to share her passion for overall health and wellness in her class by connecting movement with breath, peace with joy, strength with grace, love with determination, curiosity with creativity and body with mind. She had her first baby in November 2018 and has experienced first hand how beneficial a mind/body practice is during pregnancy and postpartum.
